Is the Brixen Water Light Festival accessible for wheelchairs?
The festival route is accessible for wheelchair users. There are, however, some points that need to be taken into account:
Brixen: the old town of Brixen is wheelchair accessible
Neustift: In the Neustift Monastery museum, visitors must use an elevator to follow the route.

How much electricity does the Water Light Festival consume?
Compared to 2022, the electricity consumption of the light art installations in the year 2023 has been reduced by 50% this year, from 10 MWh to 4.5 MWh. By switching off street lamps and outdoor lighting, we save approximately 3 MWh during the festival. This results in a net consumption of 1.5 MWh in 19 days.
