Short and sweet
Hiking in Brixen’s valley basin
From Brixen, you can set out on many wonderful relaxing walks and short hikes. You might choose to amble to the monastery and back. Or perhaps stroll along the Bachdammrunde – the name affectionately given by locals to the pathways along the river. In fact, the banks of the Eisack river are a beautiful place to stretch your legs. There’s something rather special about picnicking on the river’s edge or sitting on a bench and watching the water flow by.
