Sara Förster is a German artist who works primarily with the medium of photography. She explores strategies of representation in various processes and deals with traditional photographic techniques such as slide projections and Polaroids.

In March 2024, the artist was a guest at Neustift Monastery to record the light situations in and around the monastery using various materials and methods. Using photosensitive paper and a camera, she collected a variety of light impressions. The result is an artistic archive of natural light situations with a variety of pastel colours and temporal layers.
